My
realization sealed my fate
For
I was underground
With
a stake in my heart
And
a knife in my back
My
soul forever bound
My
realization came too late
For
I was buried in death
With
a sentence of love
And
a yearning for pain
My
soul was gasping for breath
My
realization came up swift
For
I was caught off guard
With
a moment of bliss
And
a glimpse of hope
My
soul was left unbarred
My
realization was heaven sent
For
I was cradled and charmed
With
a smile on my face
And
a grace to my ways
My
soul was left unharmed
My realization was not
in need
For I was strong and
steady
With a strength to my
step
And and a lift of my
chin
My soul was willing and
ready
I like this piece.
