My realization sealed my fate

For I was underground

And a knife in my back

My realization came up swift

For I was caught off guard

With a moment of bliss

And a glimpse of hope

For I was cradled and charmed

With a smile on my face

And a grace to my ways

My soul was left unharmed

My realization was not in need

For I was strong and steady

With a strength to my step
